The Ukraine-Russian War according to most Medium “War Journalists"
From Ex-veteran, “my father was from military intelligence”, and everyone else.
- The invasion was “unprovoked".
- Russian soldiers are dying like flies. For every Ukrainian soldier casualty, Russian loses 100 (or 1000). Whatever the numbers, it’s a huge multiplier.
- Everyday Ukraine is gaining more soldiers.
- Everyday Russia is losing soldiers not only due to being shot down, but many are running away, leaving tanks, planes, etc for Ukraine. I.e. Russian soldiers are under-trained, lacking disciplined, and are cowards.
- The Russian economy is in the slums and will never recover.
- Russian command and control is centralized and ineffective.
- Russia tanks are obsolete.
- Russia airborne units are obsolete.
- Russian weaponry WWII old.
- Russia is running out of ammo (every month for the past 1 year).
- Russia is spending $xxx millions and losing them immediately.
- Putin is dying of cancer.
- Putin’s authoritarian regime means his generals overstated the military capabilities.
- NATO is a defensive force and thus expansion to Ukraine is fine.
- The war will end in 2 months (every month for the last 1 year).
- Russian soldiers are stealing toys and cooking pans (from a photo that looked staged).
- The west is supplying Ukraine with training and weapons much more advanced than Russia. So Russia will never win.
- Putin only threatens nuclear warheads because he is losing.
- Blah blah blah and all centralized around incompetence, stupidity, and “unprovoked".
