About Bitcoin and the Equity Markets in 2023
Scarcity might not necessarily meant eventual high price; beware of the real crash coming.
Recently, I became very concerned with the cryptocurrencies communities, especially those with Bitcoin. Everyone knows now that the last year was a terrible year not only for the equity markets, but also for cryptocurrencies. And many crypto multi-millionaires had to land back in space when the promise of landing in the moon were the expected norm.
I don’ have sympathies to these people. Neither am I here to mock them. There are some personnel’s in the space who are also content creators and I absolutely enjoy their content. And that is what got my concerned. Recently, I watched some YouTube videos where it is very clear that the YouTuber was in a “denial phase” and was taking the recent rally of Bitcoin as the start of a new super bull cycle.
Now, I don’t really know whether that is going to happen. And my genuine concern arises from the mental health of these people. Many years back, when I first started to trade the equity markets in 2008, I was quickly caught into the same paradigm as them. Denial about a market that wouldn’t go up and make me a millionaire. Yes, it was the financial crisis and I was one of those retail trader who got suck in at the final phase of the bull market.
